Our Design Process

  • 01 / Inquiry

    Let’s get started! Submit your info through our contact form. You will receive an email response within 48 hours (Monday through Friday) to connect.

  • 02 / Consultation

    Depending on your project needs, we’ll discuss via email, Zoom call, or a coffee shop meetup. Feel free to ask all the questions in this phase!

  • 03 / Proposal

    We’ll build a fully custom proposal and send via email, complete with all your details and a mood board.

  • 04 / Confirmation & Investment

    After you approve your proposal, we’ll send a link to sign your contract and submit your deposit.

  • 05 / Creation

    The best part! Our wedding clients receive several templates and tools, including a link to a personalized Google Drive folder so we can work together seamlessly.

  • 06/ Delivery

    Whether you’re opening a box full of pristine invitations or walking past your welcome sign on your big day, we promise to take the utmost care in getting your items to you.

You Have Questions—We Have Answers

  • Our pricing varies by project. Our investment minimum is $1,000, with most clients spending between $2,000 and $5,000.

  • A 50% retainer is required to secure your wedding date on our calendar and get started. This is due at the time of contract signing. The due date for the remaining balance varies by project.

    For commissions, we require 100% payment before beginning work.

  • Great calligraphy takes time and intention, including years of study. Your investment in our services includes not only our calligraphy expertise and knowledge of high-quality materials, but also our personalized project management to alleviate stress for our clients.

  • Sometimes. We devote most of our time and energy to our full-package wedding clients to provide the absolute best work for them. Occasionally, there is available time in our calendar, and we do take commissions. Send us an email at hello@lucky13letters.com to inquire about calendar openings.

  • While we would love to provide our services for every event you can dream up, we are not currently booking non-wedding work.

  • For wedding signage, we concentrate on serving the Memphis area but have traveled on occasion.

    We are happy to ship paper goods and some small signage wherever you need!

  • We recommend securing your wedding date on our calendar as soon as possible, since we limit the number of client projects we take on.

    For save the dates and invitations, we recommend reaching out at least 9-12 months before your wedding date.

    For day-of goods, we recommend reaching out at least 5-6 months in advance.

    We will manage timelines for you once you’re on our calendar!

  • We can, if our calendar allows. There may be a rush fee incurred based on the turnaround time and project value. We prioritize our existing client bookings, but we understand that last-minute things happen!
